Core criteria
A proposed record should be relevant to UK general practice or the wider primary-care team and be supported by a current first-party public source. It must contain enough information to create an original, factual description and identify the provider’s website.
- Relevant audience, subject matter or primary-care setting.
- A public source that supports the basic description and link destination.
- A review date and source links suitable for display.
- Funding, sponsorship, ownership or partnership information described only where stated and source-backed.
Publication threshold
The editor may hold, decline or unpublish a record where the public information is insufficient, materially unclear, outdated or incompatible with the factual-information standard. Absence from the directory does not mean a provider is unsuitable.
